Pooja Hegde, known for her remarkable acting and beauty, has certainly made her mark in the Indian film industry, collaborating with some of the finest filmmakers and biggest stars. However, despite her impressive career so far, the 34-year-old actress believes she still has a long way to go.
Pooja began her acting career in 2012 with the Tamil film Mugamoodi, directed by Mysskin. She made her Bollywood debut in 2016 opposite Hrithik Roshan in Mohenjo Daro. Over the years, she has worked alongside major stars like Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Salman Khan, Ram Charan, and Ranveer Singh. She will soon be seen in Deva, where she stars alongside Shahid Kapoor.
e would pursue acting. “My family is academically driven—my parents have law degrees and MBAs, and my brother is an orthopedic surgeon. I never thought acting was a possibility for me,” she revealed. “Watching films, I never imagined I could be the one on the screen. But I’m so grateful to be doing what I love.”
Looking ahead, Pooja is excited about the future. “There are so many roles I haven’t played yet and so many filmmakers I want to collaborate with. I’m just focused on continuing for the love of cinema,” she said.
Pooja’s next project is the action thriller Deva, directed by Rosshan Andrrews, which will be released on January 31. The film, also starring Pavail Gulati, has generated a lot of anticipation, and Pooja can’t wait to share her work with her fans.
