The price of gold has seen a slight decline in the local market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has dropped by NPR 100 per tola today and is being traded at NPR 160,500 per tola.
On Wednesday, gold was traded at NPR 160,600 per tola, whereas on Tuesday, the price was NPR 159,200 per tola.
However, the price of silver has increased. According to the federation, the price of silver has risen by NPR 30 per tola. Today, silver is being traded at NPR 1,885 per tola, compared to NPR 1,855 per tola on Wednesday.
