The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced a power outage in some areas of Kathmandu today.
According to the notice, electricity will be cut off in Lazimpat, Panipokhari, and Baluwatar under the Lazimpat feeder of the Maharajgunj Distribution Center.
Timing and Reason for the Outage
The power supply will be disrupted from 10 AM to 3 PM. The NEA stated that the outage was necessary for testing and charging underground transmission cables in the area.
If the work is completed earlier than planned, electricity will be restored before the scheduled time. The NEA has also apologized for any inconvenience caused to customers.
