The statements of five defendants, including Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, will begin today at the Kaski District Court.
Along with Lamichhane, former DIG Chabilal Joshi, Lila Pachhai, Ram Bahadur Khanal, and Krishna Bahadur Gurung are also set to give their statements before Judge Nitij Rai.
The judge will first review the case files before deciding the order in which the statements will be taken.
On Sunday, the Kaski District Government Attorney’s Office filed a case in the district court against Lamichhane and 30 others. The case involves three charges related to the Sudarshan Cooperative scam in Pokhara.
