Actor Rajinikanth is currently in Kerala filming his upcoming movie Jailer 2 with director Nelson Dilipkumar. A video of him warmly greeting fans outside his resort has been going viral on social media.
In the video, Rajinikanth car arrives at the Tuskers Hill by Poppys luxury resort in Anaikatti, Kerala. When he sees a group of fans waiting for him, he steps out of his car to meet them. As soon as the fans spot him, they start cheering loudly, with many shouting “Thalaivar” (which means leader or boss).
Hearing the familiar calls, Rajinikanth folds his hands in a traditional greeting and waves at the excited crowd. He smiles warmly at them again before getting back into his car. Security guards at the scene asked the fans if they were happy to see him, and they excitedly said yes. The fans continued to cheer as Rajinikanth’s car entered the resort.
Just a day earlier, Rajinikanth also greeted fans from his car at another shooting location. A photo of him smiling and waving at fans quickly spread on social media.
Rajinikanth’s Upcoming Projects
Rajinikanth was recently seen in Lal Salaam and Vettaiyan. While Lal Salaam didn’t do well at the box office, Vettaiyan received a decent response. He also completed shooting for Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The movie features a star-studded cast including Nagarjuna, Nimma Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, and Monisha Blessy. Coolie is set to release on August 14.
Meanwhile, Jailer 2 is the sequel to Rajinikanth’s 2023 hit film Jailer.
