The investigation commission has submitted the final report on the crash of SauryaAirlines’ aircraft.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation announced the release of the final report concerning the accident involving the Saurya Airlines CRJ-200 series plane registered as 9N-AME.
Ratish Chandra Lal Suman, Chairperson of the crash investigation commission, handed over the report to Tourism Minister Badri Prasad Pandey.
Minister Pande, upon receiving the report, expressed commitment to fully implement the commission’s impartial findings, emphasizing that the report was prepared without any bias or external pressure.
The Saurya Airlines plane had crashed near the runway shortly after taking off from Tribhuvan International Airport towards Pokhara on Shrawan 9, 2082 (July 24, 2025) for maintenance. The accident claimed the lives of 18 people. Pilot Manish Shakya was rescued alive.
