SWEET:CH Members Han and Hwi Face Serious Allegations of Assault and Fleeing from PLAN B

K-pop group SWEET:CH is currently embroiled in controversy following accusations made by Roy, a former member of their previous group, PLAN B. On April 27, Roy publicly accused Han (also known as Wangseok) and Hwi of serious misconduct, including physical assault and fleeing without notice. The allegations quickly garnered attention, prompting SWEET:CH’s agency to address the matter. In response, Han admitted his fault and issued an apology to Roy for his past actions.

Roy, who is a Thai member of PLAN B, had missed the group’s Halloween 2023 performance, with the original explanation given as a “personal decision.” However, Roy recently revealed that his absence was actually due to a physical injury caused by Han. According to Roy, the incident occurred during a practice session when he attempted to correct Han’s Thai language skills. Han reportedly mocked him, and when Roy tried to address the issue, Han physically tackled him to the ground, causing serious injury.

Following the altercation, Roy sought medical attention, and the doctor advised him to stop his activities to prevent further harm, as there was a risk of a bone fracture. Roy had initially chosen not to escalate the issue, but he later expressed his disappointment in the group, particularly with former leader Hwi, who did not intervene or take responsibility for the situation. Roy claimed that all the members witnessed the incident but that Hwi failed to address the matter properly.

In addition to the assault allegations, Han and Hwi are accused of leaving the group and returning to South Korea without informing their agency, subsequently joining the survival show PROJECT 7. They allegedly blocked all communication with their former group members and management. PLAN B’s agency confirmed these claims, further complicating the situation.

In response, SWEET:CH’s agency issued an official statement acknowledging Han’s role in the incident and apologizing to Roy. However, the agency chose not to comment on the allegations regarding Han and Hwi fleeing the group, urging fans not to engage in further speculation.

Han later shared a handwritten letter apologizing to his fans and vowed to handle future situations with greater care and responsibility.
