A teenager named Niraj Lama (Niroj) was found dead in a house at Changunarayan Municipality-4, Khoriyat, Bhaktapur. His friend, Badal Tamang, who was accused of murdering him, has been sent to prison.
On 6th Falgun, 19-year-old Niraj was found dead at Badal’s house. The police arrested Badal for investigation. A case was filed against him at the Bhaktapur District Court for the crime of murder.
On 14th Falgun, Judge Dilip Raj Panta ordered Badal to be sent to prison for trial.
According to the police, Niraj had gone to Badal’s house on the night of 5th Falgun. They slept in separate rooms.
The next day, when Niraj did not wake up until 3 PM, Badal went to check on him and found him unconscious. The police arrived at the scene and confirmed that Niraj was dead.
