In Siraha’s Lahan Municipality-24, a wife named Ritu Shah made a brave decision to donate her kidney to her husband, Mauje Shah. Both husband and wife were suffering from kidney failure, and Mauje had been receiving treatment for the past nine months at the Shahid Dharmabhakta National Transplant Center.
On Wednesday, Mauje successfully received a kidney transplant from his wife. Due to their weak financial condition, local people came forward to help by raising some funds for the treatment. The family is still asking for more support to cover the ongoing medical expenses.
This inspiring act of love shows the strong bond between husband and wife, and the power of community support in times of need.
