A 60-year-old woman, Sarudevi Thapa, was severely injured while warming herself near a fire at her home in Sayal Rural Municipality-1, Chapali, on Monday afternoon.
According to the District Police Office, Doti sparks from the fire caught her shawl, causing it to ignite. The fire burned the lower part of her body.
Sarudevi Thapa was rushed to the District Hospital in Doti for treatment. Hospital sources have reported her condition as critical. Further details about the incident are yet to be released.
