A worker died after being crushed by a falling tree while cutting trees in Makwanpur. According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, 46-year-old Dil Kumar Limbu from Ilam Municipality-9 died while cutting trees in Suryakiran Community Forest, located in Bagmati Rural Municipality-3, Deujore.
Police said that while cutting the tree, it fell toward him and crushed him, causing his death on the spot.
The Suryakiran Community Forest had given old and large trees on contract to be cut down.
