Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi has officially introduced the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in global markets ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. The high-end flagship was first unveiled in China on February 27, while the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro were initially launched in October 2024. The latest Xiaomi 15 series is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM. These smartphones boast LTPO AMOLED displays and are equipped with silicon carbon batteries, supporting 90W fast charging.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi 15: Price and Availability in India
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra starts at EUR 1,499 (approximately INR. 1,36,100) for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant, while the standard Xiaomi 15 is priced at EUR 999 (around INR. 90,700) for the 12GB + 256GB model. Details regarding its availability in different markets, including India, will be revealed soon.
Xiaomi India has confirmed that the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be officially launched in India on March 11.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Features and Specifications
Running on Android 15 with HyperOS 2 on top, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is a dual SIM smartphone scheduled to receive four major OS updates. It is powered by Qualcomm’s 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The device features a 6.73-inch WQHD+ (1,440×3,200 pixels) quad-curved LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,200 nits peak brightness.
For photography, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is equipped with a quad-camera setup, tuned by Leica:
- 50MP primary sensor (LYT-900) with OIS
- 50MP ultra-wide camera
- 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom & OIS
- 200MP ISOCELL HP9 periscope telephoto sensor with 4.3x optical zoom & OIS
On the front, it features a 32MP selfie camera.
The smartphone offers up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage and supports multiple connectivity options, including 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, GPS, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. It also comes with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is powered by a 5,410mAh silicon carbon battery, supporting 90W wired and 80W wireless charging. The device is built with aerospace-grade glass fiber and carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Xiaomi 15 shares the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset as its Ultra counterpart and offers up to 16GB of RAM. It features a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,200 nits peak brightness.
Like the Ultra model, the Xiaomi 15 sports a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom & OIS. It also features the same 32MP front camera.
The device supports up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. While connectivity options are nearly identical to the Ultra model, the standard version features Bluetooth 5.4 instead of Bluetooth 6.0. The Xiaomi 15 is backed by a 5,240mAh battery, with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
