The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has appointed Yam Prasad Gurung as the head coach of the Nepal U-20 Women’s National Football Team, gearing up for the upcoming SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship.

Yam Prasad Gurung New Coaching Team Announced

Joining Coach Yam Prasad Gurung are Sandesh Kumar Shrestha and Kiran Kumar Karki as assistant coaches, with Min Bahadur Basnet taking on the role of goalkeeper coach. Indu Duwal has been designated as the team manager, overseeing the squad’s preparations and logistics.

Focus on SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship

The coaching appointments come as the team intensifies preparations for the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship, scheduled to take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The tournament features a single round-robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the final.

Nepal will commence their campaign against host nation Bangladesh, aiming to secure a spot in the final and contend for the championship title.
