A young man has been murdered in Ochu Height, Mahalaxmi Municipality-4, Lalitpur. The police have arrested the accused and started an investigation.
According to the police, at around 11 PM last night, 25-year-old Suman Rasaili from Ramechhap attacked 30-year-old Ripak Khati, also from Ramechhap, with a khukuri, resulting in his death.
“There was a dispute between them over teasing a sister. In that context, the victim was attacked with a khukuri on the neck, leading to his death,” a source from the Imadol police stated.
The accused, Deepak Rasaili, was taken into custody by the Imadol police last night and handed over to the District Police Office, Lalitpur.
SSP Shyam Krishna Adhikari of the Lalitpur District Police Office informed that the investigation into the murder is ongoing.
