A young woman has been found dead in a hotel in Banepa, Kavrepalanchok district. The body was discovered at Hotel View Guest House, located in Banepa Municipality-8.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Gyan Bahadur Khadka, chief of the Area Police Office in Banepa, the woman was found dead at around 5:30 PM on Thursday. Preliminary investigations have identified the deceased as 23-year-old Sharmila Shrestha, originally from Ramechhap and residing in Banepa-6. She was employed at a medical facility in Banepa.
Authorities suspect foul play based on the nature of the incident. Further investigation is underway, DSP Khadka confirmed.
