This decision was made considering Chahal’s participation in the IPL 2025 starting March 22.
Earlier, the Family Court had refused to waive the cooling period, but now, with the court’s approval, things are moving forward. The court had also earlier ordered Chahal to pay permanent alimony of Rs 4.75 crore, but reports say that he has only paid Rs 2.37 crore so far.
