This post came just after news surfaced that Yuzvendra Chahal might have to pay Rs 4.75 crore as alimony to Dhanashree Verma.The Bombay High Court has decided to waive the usual six-month cooling period after a divorce, allowing the Family Court to finalize the divorce by March 20, 2025. This decision was made considering Chahal’s participation in the IPL 2025 starting March 22.
Earlier, the Family Court had refused to waive the cooling period, but now, with the court’s approval, things are moving forward. The court had also earlier ordered Chahal to pay permanent alimony of Rs 4.75 crore, but reports say that he has only paid Rs 2.37 crore so far.
