A 6.9 magnitude earthquake hit Myanmar on Friday morning, according to the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ).
As reported by Xinhua News Agency, the earthquake’s epicenter was 10 kilometers deep. Its location was 21.90° north latitude and 95.65° east longitude.
According to Reuters, after the earthquake, hundreds of people in Bangkok, Thailand, ran out of buildings in fear. Eyewitnesses said people rushed to the streets in panic.
So far, there are no reports of damage in Myanmar after the earthquake.
