Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Chair Rajendra Lingden to Meet Youth in Kathmandu

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden will host an interactive event with youth under 40 on Jestha 12 at the Rastriya Sabha Griha, Kathmandu. This program, titled “Awastha Badalna Byawastha Parivartan Kina?” (Why System Change to Change the Situation?), is set just days before the party’s planned protest on Jestha 15.

The main goal is to answer young people’s questions about the RPP’s political vision. Topics include monarchy revival, Hindu nation restoration, ending federalism, and why RPP believes a system change is necessary.

According to RPP youth wing head Prakash Rimal, Chairman Lingden will directly respond to doubts young professionals and students have about RPP’s role, future goals, and reasons behind the upcoming movement.

The party also wants to clarify common confusion — like what kind of king RPP supports, what their national and economic policies are, and how their plans relate to everyday people’s lives. RPP argues that the current system has failed and aims to wake up Nepal’s young generation to join the change.

Not only political youth, but those from non-political backgrounds are also invited.

Before this, RPP has been holding discussions with intellectuals, Newar communities in the valley, and mobilizing supporters for the planned protest. The United People’s Movement Committee has also been conducting strategy meetings with allied parties and groups.

This bold interaction could reshape how youth see traditional politics and their role in shaping Nepal’s future.
