The student organization ANNFSU, affiliated with CPN (Unified Socialist), has burned an effigy of Energy Minister Deepak Khadka.
ANNFSU staged the protest by burning the minister’s effigy in opposition to the government’s decision to remove Kulman Ghising from his position as the Executive Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority.
They burned the effigy of Minister Khadka while protesting from Bishwo Bhasha Campus at Exhibition Road. Shortly after, the police intervened and extinguished the fire.
