The number of deaths in the bus accident that occurred on Wednesday in Shankharapur Municipality-5 has reached four.
A 10-year-old student, Sunshine Tamang, passed away while undergoing treatment at Medicity Hospital, according to SP and spokesperson Apilraj Bohora of the Kathmandu District Police.
With his passing, the death toll has risen to four. Earlier, an 11-year-old student, Kristal Puri, 23-year-old Suresh Tamang, and 14-year-old Sushank Dotel had lost their lives.
On 30th Magh, students from SS Academy in Chabahil had gone to Nagarkot for a picnic. While returning, the bus they were traveling in, with the number plate Ba 2 Kha 7958, met with an accident.
Out of the 43 passengers on board, three died on the spot, while the rest were taken to different hospitals for treatment.
