Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has unveiled the trailer of his much-awaited horror-comedy film Sardaarji 3. The film also marks the Indian debut of popular Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, who joins the franchise for the first time. Diljit took to Instagram to share the trailer, confirming that the movie will be released only overseas on June 27.
Hania Aamir Teams Up with Diljit in Ghostbuster Role
In Sardaarji 3, Hania plays the role of a ghost hunter alongside Diljit. Together, they are hired to deal with a mischievous spirit haunting a mansion in the United Kingdom. The film blends spooky elements with comedy and romance, with both Hania and Neeru Bajwa seen romancing Diljit’s character.
Action, Laughter & Love: What the Trailer Shows
The trailer begins with a team of armed soldiers trying to take on an invisible spirit in a haunted UK castle. However, they fail miserably, prompting the mansion owner to call in Dosanjh’s character for help. Packed with humorous ghostbusting scenes, romance, and action, the film promises a thrilling ride.
Internet Reactions: Fans Excited for Hania’s Role
Diljit captioned his Instagram post, “Sardaar Ji 3 Releasing 27th June OVERSEAS Only. FADH LAO BHOOND DIAN LATTAN.” Fans flooded the comments section with excitement. While some expressed curiosity about the overseas-only release, others said they’re watching the film only for Hania. One fan wrote, “Can’t wait!!” while another added, “Wow, Hania is here. No one say anything against her.”
Cast, Director & Background
Directed by Amar Hundal, Sardaarji 3 also features Manav Vij, Gulshan Grover, Jasmin Bajwa, and Sapna Pabbi in key roles. The teaser, released earlier, had already created buzz with its fast-paced scenes and ghostly plot.
The Sardaar Ji franchise is one of the most beloved in Punjabi cinema. The first part released in 2015, starring Mandy Takhar and Neeru Bajwa, was a box-office hit. Its sequel came out in 2016, both directed by Rohit Jugraj.
Why the Buzz Matters
Hania’s role in Sardaarji 3 comes at a tense time amid political tensions between India and Pakistan, following the Pahalgam terrorist attack and Operation Sindoor. Despite this, her appearance in an Indian film has drawn massive attention and support online.
