The drama intensifies in the latest episodes of The Traitors, hosted by Karan Johar, as two major eliminations shake the house and a new traitor is secretly recruited. Episodes 7 to 9 revealed shocking twists that left both contestants and viewers stunned.
The seventh episode began with the contestants reeling from the “murder” of Janvi Gaur. But the spotlight quickly shifted to Elnaaz Norouzi, who raised suspicion after choosing to play solo in a duo task with Uorfi Javed. Despite defending herself in the tense Circle of Shaq, Elnaaz was voted out — and her exit came with a big reveal: she was, in fact, one of the traitors.
Her elimination left Purav Jha as the sole traitor, and the game demanded he find a partner to keep the deception alive. He chose to recruit Harsh Gujral, his close ally, who accepted the secret role and quickly got to work. Harsh’s first move as a traitor? The “murder” of Jannat Zubair.
Meanwhile, the suspicion continued to swirl. Anshula Kapoor became the next target during the latest Circle of Shaq, as players speculated on her possible betrayal. Despite asserting her innocence before leaving, Anshula was voted out, bringing another emotional moment to the game.
Soon after, Apoorva Mukhija started piecing things together and expressed doubts about Harsh Gujral’s gameplay, suspecting him of protecting Uorfi Javed for strategic reasons. She voiced her suspicions to Jasmine, hinting that the traitor alliance may not go undetected for much longer.
With the eliminations of Elnaaz Norouzi, Jannat Zubair, Janvi Gaur, Anshula Kapoor, and Sufi Motiwala (who was poisoned by Purav in a covert mission), the tension is at an all-time high. Other contestants who have been eliminated so far include Raj Kundra, Lakshmi Manchu, Sahil Salathia, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, and Raftaar.
Amid the drama, Amazon Prime Video has officially confirmed that The Traitors will return for a second season. New episodes of the reality thriller drop every Thursday at 8 PM exclusively on Prime Video.
