Falgunanda Rural Municipality has declared a mourning holiday following the death of Ward No. 3 Chairperson Sukhbir Nembang.
Municipality Chairperson Brijahang Angdembe issued a condolence statement, announcing that all ward offices, health and educational institutions, banks, and financial institutions will remain closed in mourning.
Nembang passed away at the age of 46 on 2079 due to oral cancer. He was elected as Ward Chair of Falgunanda-3 in both 2074 and 2079. A former volleyball player, he also served as the president of the Nepali Congress in the municipality.
