Fayyad Miya Mansuri of Ghiura Tole, Ishnath Municipality-4, Rautahat, has been arrested three years after allegedly murdering his wife. He is accused of killing his 20-year-old wife, Chandni Khatun, on 26th Magh 2078 by strangling her with a scarf. Her body was found in a wheat field, with the scarf wrapped around her neck and stuffed in her mouth. Mansuri had been on the run since the incident. Rautahat District Police Office confirmed his arrest and stated that an investigation is underway under the charge of homicide, with a court-issued remand order.
