A male rhinoceros was found dead in Nawalparasi, within the Chitwan National Park area.
According to the park, the approximately 23-year-old rhino was discovered in the Piprahar Ghat of the Sisuwa buffer zone in Devchuli Municipality, eastern Nawalparasi.
Preliminary investigations suggest the rhino died due to a fight, said park information officer Abinash Thapa.
In the past year, 13 rhinos have died in and around Chitwan National Park.
