A woman died after being hit by a pickup van in Tulsipur. According to Prakash Thapa, an information officer at the Area Police Office, Tulsipur, the deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Lila Bhusal from Lamahi Municipality-5.
The accident happened on Wednesday at Hattikhauwa, Tulsipur-7, when a pickup van (plate number Ra 1 Cha 1300) heading towards Tulsipur from Ghorahi collided with a scooter (plate number Ra 7 Pa 1135) coming from the opposite direction.
Lila Bhusal, who was riding the scooter, was injured in the accident and passed away during treatment on Wednesday evening at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur. The scooter driver, her 27-year-old son Nimlal Bhusal, was also injured.
