Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Nepal, Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury, paid a farewell visit to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today.
During the meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singha Durbar, Prime Minister Oli thanked Ambassador Chowdhury for his contributions to strengthening the relationship between Nepal and Bangladesh.
Prime Minister Oli expressed hope that Bangladesh would quickly transition from its interim political situation to stability.
On this occasion, Ambassador Chowdhury acknowledged that Bangladesh had learned from Nepal’s peace process and political changes.
The meeting also discussed various bilateral issues and areas of cooperation. Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were also present. Ambassador Chowdhury is preparing to return to Bangladesh after completing his tenure in Nepal.
