Three individuals were arrested in Ghorahi on Wednesday night with 24 kilograms and 710 grams of cannabis. The suspects—39-year-old Nim Bahadur Ale from Swargadwari Municipality-2, Pyuthan; 21-year-old Deukali Budha Magar from Naubahini Rural Municipality-2; and 29-year-old Prakash Gharti Magar from Triveni Rural Municipality-7, Rolpa—were apprehended at the house of Kul Bahadur Basnet in Srijanshil Tol, Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-13, where they had rented a room.
According to District Police Spokesperson DSP Ishwor Thapa, the narcotic substance, weighing 24 kilograms and 710 grams, was found inside a plastic drum in the kitchen, wrapped in plastic bags. The suspects are currently in custody, and further investigation is underway.
