Due to the influence of western winds and local winds, light rain has occurred in some hilly areas of the country, including Kathmandu.
According to the weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological Forecasting Division, moist air coming from the Bay of Bengal is also partly affecting the weather.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy across the country. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning, and strong winds in some hilly areas of Koshi and Lumbini provinces, as well as in other parts of the country.
There is also a possibility of light rain and snowfall in some mountainous and hilly areas.
