A shocking incident has surfaced in Pokhara, where a young man’s body was found early in the morning. The location was near the Institute of Forestry in Ward No. 15 of Pokhara Metropolitan City.
Locals discovered the body lying on the road with visible injuries and blood. They immediately informed the police. According to Kaski Police spokesperson DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet, the man appeared to have been struck with a hammer, which was found near the body. His face and body had several injuries.
Police suspect murder as the cause of death. However, the case has become more puzzling since no ID or documents were found with the deceased. No one from the area recognized him, and there were no witnesses.
The police were informed at 5 AM, but before then, around 1:30 to 2:30 AM, people had passed through the area without noticing anything unusual. Based on this, officers believe the incident occurred around 4 or 4:30 AM.
A trained sniffer dog was used to assist with the investigation, but there are still no clear leads. Locals suspect the murder happened during the night. Police are hoping the post-mortem report will provide more clues and help move the investigation forward.
