Popular young comedian Mexam Gaudel is currently undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in Delhi after suffering from a pancreas-related illness.
Director Bishal Bhandari of Comedy Night with Champions shared that Gaudel is now visiting the hospital for follow-up care and his health is gradually improving.
Gaudel had been unwell for the past two months. He first experienced stomach pain and was admitted to Civil Hospital, Baneshwor for 12 days. Later, he went to Delhi for advanced treatment and stayed in Medanta Hospital for around 15–16 days.
He became sick after shooting four episodes of Comedy Night with Champions. The actor-comedian rose to fame from Comedy Champion and has also acted in popular films like ‘Chhakka Panja 5’ and ‘Feri Resham Filili’.
Fans and fellow comedians, including Suman Karki, have been wishing for his quick recovery on social media, expressing hope to see him back on stage soon.
