Things escalated when Colin Jost made a surprise entrance pretending to be Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Defense Secretary in the sketch. As soon as he appeared, Strong’s Pirro spat wine all over him — a classic Weekend Update moment that instantly went viral.
The sketch closed with Trump joking about Hegseth’s drinking habits, asking, “Have you been drinking again?”
