A motorcycle accident on the East-West Highway at Salbas, Sarawal Rural Municipality-1, Nawalparasi (West), has resulted in one death and left another critically injured.
According to police reports, the accident occurred when a motorcycle (Province No. 3-02-006 P 9836) heading west from the east lost control and crashed into the road divider.
The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Kamal Pariyar, a resident of Amhawa, Shuddhodhan Rural Municipality, Rupandehi. He succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Lumbini City Hospital.
Meanwhile, the motorcycle rider, 29-year-old Gopal Lohani from Likhu-3, Nuwakot, sustained severe head injuries. He is currently receiving treatment at Lumbini City Hospital, according to the police.
