A 20-year-old man from Siddharthnagar Municipality-8, Rahul Harijan, was caught with brown heroin in Bhairahawa. The arrest was made by a joint team of the Narcotics Control Bureau, Bhairahawa branch, and the Bhairahawa Buspark police.
Police seized 2 grams and 8 milligrams of brown sugar heroin from Rahul. The arrest happened after a secret tip-off about drug sales near Children’s Park in Khajhana-3, Siddharthnagar Municipality.
According to Suraj Karki, DSP and spokesperson of Rupandehi District Police Office, Rahul has been presented in the district court. The court extended his custody by 7 days for further investigation. The police continue to investigate the case.
